The challenge

Our client faced a critical challenge: their existing fund websites were difficult to navigate, making it hard for prospective and existing investors to access essential fund information. Client confidence indicators and conversion rates were dropping, driving the need for a best-in-class digital experience.

Our solution

Kurtosys delivered a fully integrated website platform with real-time fund data, balancing design excellence with robust functionality. The new digital experience is fast, intuitive, and compliant with global accessibility standards.

The Kurtosys platform allows the client to manage multiple fund centres as microsites, reducing operational overhead while maintaining consistency across regions. Each microsite benefits from high-speed API integration, automated product updates, and dynamic document display.

For this client, all sites are fully hosted within the Kurtosys environment, ensuring managed security, performance monitoring, backups, and domain management. For larger financial groups where central IT dictates CMS choices, Kurtosys offers flexible integration, allowing fund centres to be embedded within existing systems while maintaining compliance and security.

At the heart of the solutions are four key components

1

Fund centre, product pages, and attestation experience

Configurable, low-code components ensure fast deployment and consistent branding.

2

Data integration

High-speed API’s connect the client’s internal data sources to the platform, delivering up-to-date data and reports dynamically.

3

Regulatory and accessibility compliance

Built-in tools and frameworks ensure alignment with global regulations and WCAG accessibility standards.

4

Secure and effortless management

Robust security, automated backups, simplified domain management, and optimised site performance ensure stability and peace of mind.

The implementation process

Working in partnership with the client’s financial web design agency and internal digital teams, Kurtosys delivered a structured 12-week implementation from configuration to launch. The approach was structured and predictable, helping the client move quickly while keeping day-day disruptions to a minimum.

Aligning on the rollout plan

Early workshops confirmed which markets, investor types, and languages were in scope, and how the new fund websites would fit alongside the client’s wider corporate site.

Building the core template

A consistent foundation for fund centres, fund pages, document access and investor attestation was configured first so each regional or client site could be launched faster and with the same look and feel.

Connecting data and documents

Fund information and key documents were connected securely, with checks to ensure accuracy and readiness for investor use.

Local market reviews

Each region was reviewed for local requirements and approvals, and adjusted where needed to meet country-specific rules and expectations.

Testing & go-live

Final end-to-end testing with stakeholders ensured everything worked as expected across markets before launch.

The outcome

Investor-centric design improvements

The design puts investors at the centre, with simplified search across fund centres, product pages, and document libraries, allowing users to switch easily between funds and share classes. A streamlined document retrieval process ensures that key materials are available at every stage of the investor journey.

Automation for compliance and efficiency

Automation has reduced manual effort, improved data accuracy, and ensures compliance across multiple jurisdictions. With robust security and accessibility built in, the platform delivers efficiency at scale while supporting the firm’s broader digital transformation goals.

Digital brand transformation

The new websites have transformed how investors and prospects engage with the firm’s brand. Intuitive navigation, real-time data access, and a consistent user experience have strengthened trust and conversion across markets.

Unified digital foundation

This unified digital foundation enables faster updates, better engagement, and a scalable path for future digital innovation.

Why digital experiences matter

Digital is now central to the investor relationship. A well-designed website is often the first and most frequent touchpoint, delivering accessibility, transparency, and personalised insight. By empowering investors with real-time data and intuitive tools, asset managers can deepen engagement, reduce operational costs, and set themselves apart in a competitive marketplace.
