Event overview

Earlier this year, we held a client day where some of our leading investment management clients told us they were at an early stage with AI. Many were testing Microsoft Copilot and focused on individual productivity gains.

Six months on, the picture looks very different. Some firms are now building their own applications and automating entire workflows. Others are testing individual use cases, and a small number are still waiting for their security teams to give the green light.

For your teams, this could mean less time on manual checks and more time on the oversight, exceptions and controls that need human judgement. For your clients, it could mean faster reporting, a more tailored service and more time with their relationship managers. Getting there depends on having the right governance, skills and client trust in place.

We’re not the only ones seeing this shift. Cutter Associates, consultants and financial services publications are all reporting on the opportunity AI is creating.

During our panel, we’ll explore what this looks like in practice. Moderated by Patrick McKenna, Chief Commercial Officer at Kurtosys, the panel brings together Drew Bryant, CFA, Head of Performance & Reporting at Cutter Associates, alongside investment managers at different stages of AI adoption. We’ll talk openly about what’s working and what isn’t, how firms are managing home-grown tools, and what operational AI could mean for teams and clients over the next five years.
