Highlights

Recently Released:
Apps
  • Studio Parent Configuration Reliability (Patch)
    • We resolved an issue where the Parent Client Configuration changes were not saved after viewing or editing in Studio. Users can now confidently save configuration updates, supporting consistent and efficient workflows.
Data
  • Improved Validation for Historical Datasets Extended Properties (Patch)
    • Validation has been added to ensure a property datatype is set when creating extended properties for Historical Datasets. This prevents issues where missing validation previously caused data not to display, improving reliability and user experience.
  • Enhanced Dynamic Filtering for Non-String Data Types in Datasets (Patch)
    • Dynamic filtering now supports decimal, integer, and date data types, allowing users to select filter inputs regardless of the source data type. This resolves previous limitations and makes filtering more flexible and intuitive.
Document Production
  • Improved SFTP Document Distribution (Patch)
    • We resolved an issue where documents were not distributing from the Kurtosys App to the SFTP server for multiple accounts. This fix ensures reliable document delivery, reducing workflow interruptions for users.
InDesign Plugin
  • Improved InDesign Plugin Connectivity (Patch)
    • Users can now reliably connect to the InDesign Plugin. We've resolved previous network errors and ensured smoother training and daily operations.
  • Enhanced Rounding Options for Financial Calculations in InDesign Plugin (Minor)
    • A new Bankers Rounding option is now available in the InDesign Plugin, allowing users to select from multiple rounding types. This simplifies financial calculations, reduces query complexity, and supports client migrations by accommodating various industry-standard rounding preferences.
SSO
  • SAML Library Upgrade with Enhanced Security and Compatibility (Minor)
    • SAML libraries have been upgraded to enforce current security standards, including stricter checks on authentication tokens. Backwards compatibility is maintained, allowing existing SSO integrations to function while providing options for stricter audience validation, enhancing both security and flexibility.
  • Expired SAML Assertions Now Properly Rejected (Patch)
    • The platform now enforces expiry checks on SAML assertions, ensuring that expired or prematurely issued tokens are rejected. This closes a security gap, protecting users from unauthorised access and aligning authentication behaviour with industry best practices.

Coming Soon (next 2 weeks):
Apps
  • General Bug Fixes (Patch)
    • Recent patches have improved data accuracy and user experience across multiple components, including entity matching in the Document Explorer, hierarchical table grouping, historical dataset filtering, and registration validation. Additional enhancements include better axis alignment in bar charts, reset functionality in date pickers, reliable filter clearing in the Transaction Explorer, and layout corrections in tab grids—resulting in smoother workflows and more intuitive interfaces.
Data
  • Extended Options Button Visibility in Datasets (Patch)
    • The "Extended Field Options" button in transactions datasets is now visible. This change allows users to access important translation toggles and filters, enhancing data manipulation capabilities.
Document Production
  • Distribution Document File-naming (Minor)
    • We’ve introduced a comprehensive upgrade to the document file-naming system, making it more flexible, intuitive, and compliant with formatting standards. Users can now configure filenames with support for special characters, blank spaces, and custom date formats, all managed through a streamlined interface that allows easy editing of filename segments. A real-time preview feature ensures accuracy before saving, while a dedicated modal enables validation of custom date formats. Behind the scenes, the filename logic has been refactored for better performance and future scalability, and a centralised global settings panel simplifies the setup of naming rules—delivering a smoother, more user-friendly experience.
DXM
  • DXM Sharing Template Validation (Patch)
    • An issue affecting sharing on certain templates was resolved. A utility was created to identify and correct incorrect sharing states. This ensures sharing now works reliably across the platform.
Snowflake
  • Snowflake PrivateLink Alias Selection for Users (Minor)
    • Users can now securely select Snowflake PrivateLink connections using user-friendly aliases, ensuring sensitive connection details remain hidden. This enhancement streamlines secure data access and improves operational flexibility for dataset configuration.
  • Enhanced PrivateLink Management for Super Users (Minor)
    • Super users are now empowered to configure, update, and delete Snowflake PrivateLink connections with client-specific aliases. This ensures only authorised users manage sensitive connections, while general users interact solely with aliases, improving security and operational control.
  • Workflow Distribution Update to S3 Distribution (Minor)
    • Workflow administrators can now distribute generated documents to Amazon S3, specifying AWS account, bucket, and IAM credentials. This enables secure, flexible access by allowing specification of AWS account, bucket, and role, supporting efficient and compliant document storage, providing administrators with greater control over document distribution.
