Improvements


Recently Released:

  • Email Distribution Workflow stability and interface improvements (Patch):
    • Enhancements have been made to the email distribution workflow interface to improve clarity and reliability. Users are now alerted to misconfigurations during setup, with clear UI error messages for failed steps like attachments and tags. Unnecessary background polling has been resolved to improve performance.
  • Authentication and Developer Tooling enhancements (Patch):
    • Authentication flows now have full test coverage, including success and failure scenarios for login and password reset. Tracing for services can now be toggled via environment variables. Test coverage reports have also been refined.
  • Document Workflow status updates (Minor):
    • Document workflow handling has been enhanced to support additional document types, resolving issues where status updates failed for non specified document types.
  • Improved accessibility to key areas in the Kurtosys Platform (Patch):
    • Multiple accessibility enhancements have been implemented to improve keyboard navigation across the platform. Users can now navigate interactive elements, including checkboxes, tabs, buttons, and controls, in a logical and accessible sequence. These updates form part of our continued effort to make the Kurtosys Platform easy to use for a wide range of users.
  • Core Lambda Functions upgraded (Patch):
    • Multiple core lambda functions have been upgraded to a more modern version of, ensuring enhanced compatibility, security, and performance. These updates maintain backward compatibility, include thorough testing. This update reinforces system stability and future readiness.

 

Coming Soon (next 2 weeks):

  • Updated Fund manager functionality (Minor):
    • An issue where updates to fund manager bios, images, and linked entities sometimes failed to save in the UI will be resolved. These improvements ensure updates can be reliably made across all fund managers, enhancing usability and content management workflows.
  • Email Distribution accessibility improvements (Minor):
    • Enhancements will be made to improve the accessibility and usability of interactive controls, support logical keyboard navigation, and strengthen error handling in email distribution workflows. These include clearer error messages, safeguards against misconfiguration, reduced API polling, and improved guidance throughout the workflow process.
  • Enhanced Document generation logging (Patch):
    • Improved trace logging will be implemented across the document generation process, enabling complete end-to-end visibility into workflow requests and associated documents. This improvement supports faster issue identification and resolution.
  • Updated File Type dependency (Patch):
    • A security vulnerability in the file-type dependency will be addressed by upgrading to a more secure version. This update has been tested for stability and backward compatibility to ensure ongoing reliable performance.
  • Further Core Lambda Functions Upgrades (Patch):
    • Key lambda functions and the a repository are being updated to a later Node runtime to align with current compatibility and security standards. This includes upgrading dependencies, verifying builds, maintaining backward compatibility, performing full testing, and updating deployment configurations to follow new naming conventions.
