Kurtosys is growing its regulatory reporting and fund data team, adding specialists across client service, product and sales. As demand for regulatory reporting expands, Kurtosys appoints Stephanie Olson as Lead Consultant, Regulatory Reporting and Data. The appointment also strengthens the team on the ground in the US, amplifying investment management client service experience.
Olson joins Kurtosys from AllianceBernstein, where she worked as a fixed income RFP writer and four years at Nasdaq as senior Omni relationship manager within the eVestment Omni team. Olson spent eight years at Nuveen, most recently as vice president, global client service and information, having previously managed consultant database coverage across 24 global databases and more than 400 product entries as vice president, consultant database manager. She was also assistant vice president at WEDGE Capital Management, managing the firm’s eVestment Omni reporting.
“Stephanie has spent her career on the client-facing side of investment management data and consultant relations, and that experience is invaluable as we grow our presence with US clients,” said Lee Godfrey, chief executive officer at Kurtosys. “Her track record of dependable, high-touch client service is exactly what our clients expect from Kurtosys.”
In her role at Kurtosys, Olson leads regulatory reporting and data consulting, helping investment managers disseminate accurate, timely fund data to the global data vendors, exchanges and distribution platforms their investors and consultants rely on. She works with those vendors on onboarding and partnership readiness, from technical setup and data access through to testing and publishing, and makes sure new products and vendor feeds go live with clear controls and sign-offs. For new client onboardings, she assesses platform readiness and data gaps, turning vendor and regulatory requirements into practical implementation plans.
“Client trust is built through consistent, accurate service, and that’s what I’ve focused on for almost thirty years in this industry,” said Olson. “Regulatory reporting and data only get more important to clients as requirements evolve, and I’m looking forward to bringing that same standard of client service and attention to detail to the Kurtosys team.”
