LONDON, 1 July 2026.

Kurtosys is formalising its long-standing regulatory reporting capability into a dedicated go to market solution, as investment managers face rising reporting obligations across Europe. To lead the product roadmap, the company has appointed Thomas Bjerkén as Lead Product Manager for Regulatory Reporting, effective today. Bjerkén brings specialist experience in European fund regulatory reporting, developed across roles in fund data and reporting technology.

Bjerkén joins from iQuant Solutions, where he worked as a Product Manager on Regulatory Reporting Automation. Previously he was part of the team at FundConnect, managing the European Fund Classification dataset growing it from 17,000 to 100,000 share classes, helping establish it as an industry reference.

He has also worked on fund data services at FE Fundinfo. His regulatory experience spans Solvency II, the Packaged Retail and Insurance-based Investment Products regulation (PRIIPs), the Undertakings for Collective Investment in Transferable Securities regime (UCITS), the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive (AIFMD), Tripartite Template (TPT) reporting and now the Consumer Composite Investments (CCI).

“Regulatory reporting can be complex for our clients, ensuring the accuracy of the data across all fund documentation” said Lee Godfrey, Chief Executive Officer of Kurtosys. “Despite being an area we have supported for years, we are now bringing it together into a dedicated product roadmap in line with regulatory change. Thomas is the right person to lead it having contributed so heavily to these reporting practices across the regimes that matter most to European investment managers.”

Bjerkén reports to Kauthar Malek, Head of Product at Kurtosys. The regulatory reporting product sits within the wider Kurtosys platform, which brings fund data, client reporting and regulatory outputs together in one place, so the data behind a regulatory filing or client report can be drawn from the same governed source. The appointment deepens the regulatory expertise available to Kurtosys clients across EMEA, adding to the leadership under Simon Bray, Head of EMEA joining in February 2026.

“Regulatory reporting is increasing in complexity, the only way to ensure consistency is relying on a single, governed set of fund data, powering all external communication such as PRIIPs KID, CCI, Factsheet and investor communication. What impressed me about Kurtosys was the combination of a rigorous focus on intuitive data processes built on a single source of truth, and a willingness to embed modern technology, including AI, where it genuinely improves the user experience.” said Thomas Bjerkén.”
