LONDON, 1 February 2026 — Kurtosys is strengthening its commercial team in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) with the appointment of Simon Bray as Head of EMEA. Bray will lead sales across the region, reporting to Chief Commercial Officer Patrick McKenna. He joins as more investment managers turn to AI and automation to produce client communications and regulatory documentation.

Kurtosys sits between investment managers data infrastructure and the communications they share with their clients. Operations teams govern fund data and turn it into investor reporting, regulatory documentation and digital experiences. Demand for that capability is growing across EMEA. Kurtosys is scaling senior sales leadership within the region to give a single point of accountability for commercial growth and increased coverage of clients and prospects.

Bray brings over 20 years in business development and investor engagement, helping listed companies with Investor Relations and Corporate Governance programmes, often around major corporate transactions. He joins from CMi2i, the shareholder and bondholder intelligence firm, absorbed into Computershare Group in 2025, where he was Head of Transaction Solutions. There he worked with issuers and their advisers on some of Europe’s largest and most complex mergers and acquisitions, including Deutsche Börse’s acquisition of SimCorp.

A founder shareholder at CMi2i, Bray began as Director of Sales covering Northern and Central Europe and Latin America, then took on growth of the transaction business and built the firm’s debt capital markets practice from the ground up. Prior to CMi2i Bray was Chief Executive of PrecisionIR’s Nordic subsidiary, running the European digital communications business, growing revenue and building the Nordic sales team. He has been part of two successful exits, most recently the sale of CMi2i to Computershare, the ASX-listed global share registry and investor services group.

“We’re growing fast across EMEA, and we wanted a sales leader who understands regulated financial communications and how sophisticated financial institutions buy technology solutions,” said Patrick McKenna, Chief Commercial Officer of Kurtosys. “Simon has spent more than 20 years in capital markets and investor communications, he has built and sold businesses in this space, and he brings a highly professional approach that fits how we work with clients. He will be a key hire growing demand across the region and building long-term relationships.”

“I have been monitoring the growth of Kurtosys for several years now through my existing relationship with CEO Lee Godfrey. The business has a strong reputation with investment managers which stands out in this market,” said Simon Bray. “I’ve spent my career in high growth environments within capital markets and can see Kurtosys’ AI strategy and product roadmap will be the strong foundation for the companies next chapter. There is increasing appetite in EMEA, and I’ve come to build the sales team and the pipeline to meet it.”
