1. Multi-tiered Applications for Highest Performance
   We separate the business logic and workflow from the client presentation layer and also applications from data management and messaging. This is fundamental in the construction of Enterprise Information Systems.



2. Modularized Applications for Ultimate Flexibility of Deployment
   We have a robust library of pre-built, standard modular components that we use throughout our products and software solutions for a rapid and flexible delivery model:
   • Kurtosys User Manager: the User Manager provides secure user authentication, tracking and monitoring user activity, as well as coordinating workflow, permissions, and roles.
   • Kurtosys Data Manager: the Data Manager provides transparency between the user interface and any database connections in the application. It provides secure and flexible protection for any application that needs to store or retrieve data for user consumption.
   • Kurtosys Standard Interface: the Standard Interface is a mechanism for Kurtosys developers to design and build user interfaces in a parameterized fashion without having to code logic into the presentation layer of the application. It is also fully integrated with the data manager.
   • Kurtosys Report Tool: generation of reports is required at different stages of any process or workflow. The Report Tool is designed to add this functionality, whether it is needed to provide dynamic HTML and drilldown in a DSS application or to generate hard-copy output for client delivery.
   • Kurtosys Entity Manager: the Entity Manager is a fully relational model for describing hierarchical relationships, categorizing data and documents, and providing search and access controls. It features a full API that enables other applications to interface with our applications.
